908 wp-4887-2026(c).doc IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT BOMBAY CIRCUIT BENCH AT KOLHAPUR CIVIL APPELLATE JURISDICTION WRIT PETITION NO. 4887 OF 2026 Parshuram Laxman Gurav. ...Petitioner. Versus The State of Maharashtra and Others. ...Respondents. —————— Mr. D. V. Sutar and Ketan Patil i/b Reshma Adnaik for the Petitioner. Ms. Tejas Kapre, AGP for the Respondent-State. —————— Coram : Sharmila U. Deshmukh & Neeraj P. Dhote, JJ. Date : October 7, 2026. P. C. : 1. The limited grievance in the present petition is as regards non consideration of Petitioner’s representation seeking promotion, which has been forwarded to Respondent No.3 on 22nd April 2026. 2. Learned AGP, on instructions, would submit that proposal cannot be accepted as per the applicable Government Resolutions. In such an event, it was expected that Respondent No.3 would communicate the said decision to the Petitioner so that the Petitioner can take further steps in the matter. As there is no written communication to the Petitioner, the petition is disposed of by directing the Respondent No.3 to decide the Petitioner’s said representation as expeditiously as possible and in any event within a period of four weeks from today.
