It is the contention of the petitioner that 1st petitioner's father late Sri.Cheluvappa was granted 7 acres 8 guntas in Sy.No.138, new Sy.138/1 and 138/8 situated at Karlapura Village, Sonnennahalli Dhakale, Hesaraghatta - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:13432 WP No. 13824 of 2024 Hobli, Yelahanka Taluk in the year 1945. The land was granted at an upset price and the same was paid. However, the name of the 1st petitioner's father was not entered in the revenue records. Therefore, the prayer in the writ petition is to issue necessary directions to the 2nd respondent-Tasildar, Yelahanka Taluk, to enter the name of the 1st petitioner's father in the revenue records and thereafter, consider the entry of the names of the legal heirs of the original grantee. 4. The writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 – Tahasildar, Yelahanka Taluk to consider the representation given by the petitioner at Annexure-E dated 07.02.2024, verify the records and find out whether Sri.Cheluvappa was indeed granted the land. If it is found that the Committee had in fact regularised the land in favour of Sri.Cheluvappa and saguvali chit was issued in his favour, the Tahasildar shall proceed to enter the name of Sri.Cheluvappa in the land records. Subsequent to that the Tahsildar shall find out who are the - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:13432 WP No. 13824 of 2024 legal heirs of Sri.Cheluvappa and after verifying the same he shall proceed to enter the names of the legal heir of Sri.Cheluvappa in the revenue records in accordance with law. The entire exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Ordered accordingly. 5.
