Jiya Lal Bhardwaj, Judge (Oral) Mr. Deepak Sharma, learned counsel representing the respondents has produced copies of letters dated 30.06.2026 issued by the Financial Advisor & C.A.O. Himachal Road Transport Corporation, Shimla-171003, which are taken on record. 2. A perusal of aforesaid letters reveals that an amount of Rs.1,32,054/- out of total amount of Rs.1,89,939/- has been paid to petitioner No.1 and Rs.1,43,717/- out of total amount of Rs.2,06,756/- has been paid to petitioner No.2. 3. This Court while disposing of the writ petition on 08.05.2024 had given the directions to the respondents to pay 1 Whether the reporters of Local Papers may be allowed to see the judgment? ( 2026:HHC:30238 ) 2 the due enhanced dearness relief within a period of six months and in case the same is not paid within the aforesaid period, interest @9% per annum for the period of six months till the date of payment shall be paid. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that interest on the amount of dearness relief has not been paid to the petitioners. 5. Learned counsel for the respondents undertakes to pay interest on the amount of dearness relief within a period of eight weeks from today. 6. In view of this, nothing remains to be adjudicated in the present petition and the same is closed. However, it is made clear that in case the interest on the dearness relief is not paid within eight weeks from today to the petitioners, as per the directions of this Court in the judgment sought to be executed, they shall be at liberty to file an application for revival of the execution petition. 7.
