JUSTICE DEVASHIS BARUAH ORDER Date : 15.10.2026 Pursuant to the order passed by this Court on 11.09.2026, the Petitioner had submitted all the requisite documents on 08.10.2026. The entitlement which has been adjudged in terms with the District Land Purchase Committee's valuation, comes to an amount of Rs.4,25,63,764/-. 2. Today, during the course of the hearing, Mr. D. Nath, the learned Senior Government Advocate has handed over a Demand Draft dated 15.10.2026 of an amount of Rs.4,25,63,764/- drawn on IDBI Bank bearing Draft No. No.17959. The said Demand Draft has been received by Mr. H. K. Sharma, the learned counsel assisting Mr. G. N. Sahewala, Page No.# 3/3 the learned Senior counsel. The order dated 14.10.2026 passed by the District Commissioner, Amingaon granting the sanction of release of Rs.4,25,63,764/- as well as the photocopy of the aforementioned Demand Draft dated 15.10.2026 are kept on record and marked with the letters “X” and “Y” respectively. 3. Taking into consideration that in respect to the land acquired from the Petitioner in terms with the Asom Mala Project, due compensation have been paid, nothing further remains in the present proceedings for which the writ petition stands closed.
