Order 06/02/2026
1.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that while filling application form pursuant to advertisement dated 19/2024 for recruitment on the post of Class-IV Employee, on account of human error, the petitioner could not indicate that, he was out- standing Sportsman and the application form was filled under re- served category instead of in the category of outstanding sports person.
2.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that peti- tioner is holding one certificate issued by the National Rifle Associ- ation of India certifying that, the petitioner had participated in the 40th North Zone Shooting Championship.
3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the record.
[2026:RJ-JP:5638] (2 of 2) [CW-2329/2026]
4. The eligibility clause for claiming reservation in the cat- egory of outstanding Sportsman has been prescribed in Clause 13 of the advertisement, however, learned counsel for the petitioner has utterly failed to point out that the certificate possessed by him falls in any of the category mentioned in Clause 13 of the adver- tisement. Under these circumstances where, he was not eligible for claiming any reservation in outstanding sports person category due to not possessing the certificate from the Institutes/Bodies re- ferred in the advertisement, this Court does not find any ground to interfere in this writ petition. Hence, the writ petition is, hereby, dismissed.
5. Pending application(s), if any, shall stands disposed of.
