1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent no.1/MCD to conduct a physical inspection of the pubic road/ common passage at Gali no.10, Mangla Puri, Phase-1, Palam Colony, New Delhi-110045 (‘subject road’) and take action against all unauthorized semi- pucca structures, encroachments and other obstructions raised on the subject road. 2. Ms. Shilpa Dewan, counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent/ MCD submits that action towards removal of all encroachments is scheduled for 2nd September, 2026.
3. Taking the aforesaid statement on record, and binding the respondent no.1/MCD to the same, the present writ petition is disposed of while directing the respondent no.1/MCD to remove all encroachments and thereupon clear all debris.
4. In the event the petitioner has any further grievance with regard to unauthorised encroachments on the subject road, he is at liberty to take appropriate remedies in accordance with law.
