Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody in connection with Sessions Trial No. 184/2025 arising out of Pakur (Muffasil) P.S. Case No. 138/2025 for the offence registered under Section 333/127(2)/115(2)/117(2)/109(1)/74/76/352/351(2)/3(5) of BNS, now said to have been pending in the court of learned Additional District Judge-I at Pakur. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that due to land dispute between the parties, the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case and he is in custody since 10.06.2025. 3. Learned counsel for the opposite party has opposed the prayer for bail and has submitted that there are direct and specific allegations made against the petitioner. He submits that the trial is at advance stage and as per the impugned order dated 16.04.2026, out of five charge-sheet witnesses, four have been examined and summons have been issued for appearance of the investigating officer and the doctor. 4. After hearing the learned counsel for the parties and considering the fact that the trial is at advance stage and that there are direct and specific allegations made against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Hence, this bail application is hereby rejected. 2026:JHHC:17533 2 5. To this, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the next date in the case is 20.06.2026 6. The State is directed to ensure prompt production of the witnesses during trial. 7. Learned counsel for the State is directed to forthwith communicate a copy of this order to the Director, Prosecution as well as Superintendent of Police of the concerned district to ensure compliance. 8.
