After arguing for a while, Mr. Waqar Mushtaq Khan, Advocate submits that he would feel satisfied if the instant petition is disposed of at the very threshold, with a direction to the respondent No.3 not to unnecessarily call and harass the petitioner on multiple occasions in connection with the investigation of FIR No. 0002/2026 dated 02.01.2026, registered at Police Station, Surankote and to ensure that the investigation is carried out strictly in accordance with law. 02. Since an innocuous prayer has been made, on the asking of the Court, Ms. Priyanka Bhat, Assisting Counsel, appearing on behalf of the respondents vice Mrs. Monika Kohli, Sr. AAG, submits that she is not averse to the disposal of the writ petition at the very threshold, provided that the investigation shall be carried out strictly in accordance with law and assures that the petitioner shall not be harassed unnecessarily. 03. With the consent of learned counsel for the parties, the instant writ petition S. No. 106 2 is taken up for disposal at the very threshold by directing respondent No. 3- SHO, Police Station Surankote, that in case the presence of the petitioner is required for carrying out the investigation in the FIR mentioned supra, the same shall be secured strictly in accordance with law after issuing prior notice to the petitioner well in advance and not otherwise and that too in writing and petitioner shall not be unnecessarily harassed. 04.
