In this writ petition, the petitioner is seeking direction to the respondents to consider the representation dated 27th January, 2026 (Annexure-E) and 22nd January, 2026 (Annexure-F) for admission of the petitioner to Ph.D Course in Plantation, Spices, Medicinal and Aromatic Crops in Bagalkot University.
2. Heard Sri. Jai Prakash Reddy M., learned counsel appearing for the petitioner; Smt. Shubha S., learned Central Government Counsel appearing for respondents 1 and 2; and Sri. K.G. Nayak, learned counsel appearing for the respondent No.3.

3. Having heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties and on perusal of the averments made in the writ petition, I am of the view that the respondent No.3 shall consider the case of the petitioner for allotment of Ph.D seat in Bagalkot University in accordance with law. Therefore, without expressing any opinion on merits of the case, the respondent No.3 is directed to consider the representation dated 27th January, 2026 (Annexure-E) within an outer limit of one month from the date of receipt of this order. Accordingly, writ petition is disposed of.
