By the order dated 10.09.2026, this court had directed the Public Page No.# 2/2 Prosecutor to get the instructions from the North Lakhimpur Police Station, as to whether, any case has been registered against the petitioner or not and today, when the matter is called up, the learned APP, has placed on instruction furnished by the Officer-in-Charge of North Lakhimpur Police Station, dated 14.09.2026, wherein, it was stated that, no case has been registered against the petitioner, namely, Bhabit Saikia. As such, the learned counsels submit that the matter be closed. 3. Prayer is allowed. 4. Further the interim order dated 10.09.2026 also stands vacated. 5.
