JUSTICE R DEVDAS ORAL ORDER Learned Additional Government Advocate takes notice for respondent Nos.1 to 3. Notice to respondent No.4 is not necessary for the following reasons. 2. It is the contention of the petitioner that the petitioner is the owner of 8 acres and 12 guntas in Sy.No.1/1 which was originally Sy.No.1. By virtue of a partition which took place between the family members in the year 1988 and by virtue of relinquishment deeds executed by certain family members in favour of the petitioner, the petitioner acquired title to the property. However, the grievance of the petitioner is in respect of 17 guntas of the said land where the name of the respondent No.4 - - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:10598 WP No. 5331 of 2026 Smt.Parvathamma is entered by virtue of MR No.38/1997-98. In this regard, the petitioner gave a representation to the Tahsildar at Annexure - D dated 18.08.2025. The Tahsildar has issued the impugned endorsement stating that the Tahsildar is not empowered to consider such a representation to remove a mutation entry and therefore the petitioner will have to approach the competent authority. 3. Learned Additional Government Advocate submits that there is no infirmity in the impugned endorsement issued by the Tahsildar. If the petitioner is aggrieved of the mutation entry bearing MR No.38/1997-98, the petitioner will have to file an appeal before the Assistant Commissioner under Section 136(2) of the Karnataka Land Revenue Act, 1964. 4. There is substance in the submission made by the learned Additional Government Advocate.
