2. The case of the prosecution is that on 30.01.2026, the petitioner along with other accused persons allegedly trespassed into the house of the defacto complainant, tied him with a rope, and robbed a sum of Rs.25 lakhs, 15 sovereigns of gold jewels and 250 grams of silver at knife point and thereafter fled from the scene of occurrence. Hence, this case.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner, being an Advocate, has not at all involved in the occurrence as alleged by the prosecution and he has been under incarceration since 02.02.2026 and hence prayed to enlarge him on bail.
4. However, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that the allegations are very serious in nature and that this is the case of entering into the house of the defacto complainant in the morning and taken away Rs.25 lakhs and 15 sovereigns of gold jewels and the said amount is yet to be recovered.
