ORAL ORDER
In this petition, petitioner seeks for the following reliefs:-
“(a) Quash the order of transfer dated 03.02.2025 in so far as the petitioner is considered in Serial No.69 vide Annexure-A issued by Respondent No.1. (b) Issued a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner vide Annexure-D dated 01.02.2026 and grant an extension of 2 years of tenure to the petitioner on compassionate grounds. (c) Pass such other orders or directions as this Hon’ble Court may deem fit with the facts and circumstances of the case in the interest of justice and equity.”
2. Heard Sri.Sunil Kumar H., learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri.H.Shanthi Bhushan, learned DSGI along with Sri.Jayakar Shetty and Vinay Venugopal, learned SPC for the respondents and perused the material on record.
3. It is the grievance of the petitioner that his representation dated 01.02.2026 at Annexure-D submitted to the respondents has not been considered so far by them nor any order

has been passed on the same. Under these circumstances, the petitioner is before this Court by way of the present petition.
4. Per contra, learned DSGI along with learned SPC for the respondents submits that if reasonable time is given, they would consider and pass necessary order on the said representations.
5. In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances and rival submissions, the concerned respondent is hereby directed to address the grievances of the petitioner and consider his representation dated 01.02.2026 at Annexure-D and pass appropriate order / take appropriate decision bearing in mind prevailing Circulars, Notifications and Office Memorandum issued by the respondents in accordance with law, on or before
18.04.2026.
6. With the aforesaid directions, the petition stands
disposed of.
