Bordoloi, the learned Standing Counsel appears on behalf of the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Government of Assam. 2. Mr. L.K. Das, the Additional Secretary to the Government of Page No.# 3/3 Assam, Revenue and Disaster Management Department is also present through the video conferencing mode. 3. The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioners alleging inaction on the part of the Respondent Authorities in providing the permission in terms with Section 21A of the Registration Act, 1908, insofar as the same is applicable to the State of Assam. 4. It has been brought to the attention of this Court that on 07.04.2026, the permission has been duly accorded. A copy of the said permission, which has been placed before this Court during the course of the hearing, is kept on record and marked with the letter ‘X’. 5. Taking into account the above, this Court therefore finds that no live cause of action remains in the present proceedings. Accordingly, the instant writ petition stands closed. 6.
