This is a Petition for issuance of Writ of Habeas Corpus directing production of the Petitioner’s daughter before the Court. Since past few occasions, nobody appeared. Hence, we had placed this matter under the caption for dismissal today. Today, the Petitioner is present in the Court and she tendered an affidavit. It is taken on record and marked ‘X’ for identification. 2. The issue arose because of inter-faith marriage by the Petitioner’s daughter. But, now the Petitioner has accepted that her daughter has got married and she has joined her duties in a Government Hospital. The Petitioner does not want to press this Petition. Therefore, she prayed that the Petition may not be dismissed but she may be permitted to withdraw the Petition. 3. The learned APP also tendered a report dated 7th October 2026. There is a copy of the Marriage Certificate and a copy of the statement of the Petitioner supporting these facts. That report is also taken on record and marked ‘X1’ for identification. In this view of the matter, nothing survives in this Petition and the Petitioner is permitted to withdraw this Petition. 4. The Petition is disposed of as withdrawn. (RANJITSINHA RAJA BHONSALE, J.)
