Runu Chowdhury, Adv. Tithi Mazumder, …for the State. Affidavit of service filed by the petitioner is taken on record. None appears for the Zilla Parishad despite service. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner completed the balance work for construction of RCC Bridge at Solmari over Mora Mahananda in terms of the work order issued in his favour on 15th June, 2017. The petitioner was granted completion certificate for the work and his legitimate dues were cleared. The earnest money and security deposit are yet to be cleared. The petitioner submitted a representation before the concerned authority on 29th July, 2025 seeking payment of the said due amount which is yet to be considered. The petitioner seeks clearance of his dues. Upon consideration of the submission made on behalf of the parties, the Additional Executive Officer, Malda Zilla Parishad and the Additional District Magistrate, being the 4th respondent herein, is directed to consider and dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioner within four weeks from the date of communication of the order and disburse the entire due amount (earnest money 2 and security deposit) to the petitioner upon the petitioner complying with all requisite formalities. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. There shall however, be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the petition are deemed not to have been admitted.
