1. The instant petition has been preferred with the following prayer:-
“1. To direct the respondent no. 1 to 3 to make the proper and complete security arrangement for the safety of the life of petitioners and
2. To direct the respondent no. 1 to 3 to keep the vigilance on the respondents 4 and other family members of petitioner no.1 so the petitioners should not be harassed and humiliate unlawfully;”
2. By way of filing the instant petition, a prayer has been made for issuing directions to the respondents to provide Police Protection to the petitioners. 3. As per the contents of the petition, both the petitioners are major and they have performed marriage. However, their family
[2026:RJ-JP:14172] (2 of 2) [CRLMP-6552/2019] members are not happy with their marriage and they have started threatening the petitioners of dire consequences and to cause harm to their life. Hence, under these circumstances they have approached this Court by way of filing the instant petition seeking appropriate directions. 4. This Court vide interim order dated 18.10.2019, while issuing notices to the respondents, directed that in case the petitioners’ may appear before the respondent No. 3, i.e., SHO Police Station, Nadbai, District Bharatpur, he shall keep a vigil so that no harm is caused to the petitioners by their relatives. 5. The aforesaid order was passed long back in the year 2019 and thereafter much water has flown and this Court believes that after passage of considerable time, the situation would have become normalised by now. 6. Looking to the overall facts and circumstances of the case, this Court deems it just and proper to dispose of the instant misc.
petition granting liberty to the petitioners to submit a detailed representation once again before the respondent No. 3, in case they still feel any danger/harm to their personal life and liberty. In case, such a representation is submitted by the petitioners before the respondent No. 3, it is expected from him to decide the same strictly in accordance with law expeditiously as early as possible. It is made clear that in case it is found that the petitioners are still in need of the police protection, as prayed herein, appropriate steps regarding granting of protection to them may be immediately taken by the respondent No. 3.
