Mr. Dipanjan Dutt, Mr. Soumadip Ghosh ... For the de facto complainant. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for 2 years 6 months. Learned Public Prosecutor appearing for the State, on the other hand, opposes the prayer for bail and submits that out of 23 witnesses, 11 witnesses have already been examined. Having considered the gravity of the offence and the fact that the evidence is at crucial stage, at this juncture, I am not inclined to accede to the prayer for bail of the 2 petitioner. As such, at this stage, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. The application for bail, being CRM (M) 1883 of 2025, is, thus, dismissed.
