GP FOR REVENUE The Court made the following: p. 3 SRS,J
W.P.No.4202 of 2026
::ORDER ::
Heard Sri V. Sai Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri Divya Teja, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue, for the respondents. 2. The grievance of the petitioner is that the representation dated 16.12.2024, made by the petitioner, to assign suitable agricultural land was not considered by respondent No.2. 3.
Learned counsel for the petitioner would contend that the petitioner, an ex-serviceman, was granted a temporary assignment of an extent of Ac.1-55 cents in survey Nos.1103 and 1134, Kolluru Village and Mandal, on
27.04.2011. Subsequently, an extent of Ac.00-45 cents of land in survey No.1134 was acquired by respondent No.5, for widening of the KRF double line road works, without paying compensation. Aggrieved by the said action, the petitioner filed W.P.No.26795 of 2021, which was disposed of directing the respondents therein to conduct a joint inspection, and to submit a report to the District Collector, for taking an appropriate decision after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. Thereafter, an alternate land was allotted. Since it was not feasible for cultivation, the same was brought to the notice of the authorities. Subsequently, an extent of Ac.3-90 cents of land in survey No.180 was assigned to the petitioner. The same was also found unsuitable for agriculture and was objected to by a group of villagers. The petitioner submitted Ex.P1, a representation, requesting to allot suitable agricultural land. However, the same is not considered.
4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue, on instructions, would submit that respondent No.2 will consider Ex.P1, representation and pass appropriate orders, as per the Rules. p. 4 SRS,J
W.P.No.4202 of 2026
5. Given the submission of the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue, keeping the writ petition pending will not serve any purpose. Hence, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage with the consent of
learned counsel on either side, directing the learned respondent No.2 to consider Ex.P1, representation dated 16.12.2024, made by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders strictly as per the Rules, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within eight weeks from receipt of a copy of the order. No costs. As a sequel, pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
