Ashok Srivastava, learned Counsel for the Writ Petitioner and Sri S. Vijaya Kumar, learned Counsel, representing Sri A.S.C. Bose, learned Standing Counsel for the Municipal Corporation 2. Since this Writ Petition is filed challenging the Show Cause Notice dated 26.03.2026 (Ex.P.4), this Court is not inclined to interfere in this Writ Petition. However, it transpires from the record that the Petitioner herein has already submitted her Explanation within two days thereafter, i.e., on 28.03.2026 (Ex.P.5). 3. Having regard to the fact that the Petitioner has submitted her Explanation well within time, the Respondent Authorities are Statutorily obligated to consider the said Explanation and pass a Speaking Order in accordance with law within a reasonable time. 4. In this view of the matter, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the Writ Petition with a direction to the Respondent Authorities to consider the Explanation submitted by the Petitioner dated 28.03.2026 (Ex.P.5) and pass a Speaking Order in accordance with law and communicate such Order to the Petitioner forthwith. 5. Till such time the Speaking Order is communicated to the Petitioner, the Respondent Authorities shall not initiate any coercive steps. 6. With these observations and directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No order as to costs. 3 7.
