Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record. 3. According to the applicant, his application seeking compounding was dismissed vide order dated 10.05.2025 on the ground that compounding proceedings were pending at the State Government level in terms of paragraph 8 of the Government Order dated 28.07.2023, and that compounding could not be permitted in the absence of compliance therewith. 4. Learned Senior Advocate for the applicant has produced a copy of the order dated 15.09.2025 issued by the Secretary, Government of Uttarakhand, to the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Nainital, whereby consent has been accorded for closure of the matter on the basis that it stands compounded. Copy of the order dated 15.09.2025 is taken on record. 5. In view of the State Government's consent for compounding and closure of proceedings, the applicant is at liberty to file an appropriate application before the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Nainital. The said Court shall decide the matter in light of the Government Order 2026:UHC:1782 dated 28.07.2023 and the order dated 15.09.2025, within a period of two weeks’ from the date of receipt of the application along with a certified copy of this order. 6. The criminal miscellaneous application stands disposed of accordingly.
