Sri Sandeep Lahiri, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have converted the subject land from agriculture to residential purpose on 18.11.2008, prior to the issuance of the preliminary notification dated 30.12.2008 and the final notification. The petitioners submitted representation for re-allotment of the sites Dr. Shivaram - 5 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:7297-DB WP No. 30289 of 2025 Karanth Layout. The representation not having met its consideration, has preferred this petition before this Court. 3. Sri Shivaprasad Shantanagoudar, learned counsel for the respondents – BDA submits that if reasonable time is granted, the representation of the petitioners would be considered and necessary orders would be passed in accordance with law. 4. In the light of the aforesaid submission, we deem it appropriate to pass the following: ORDER a. The writ petition is allowed. b. The respondents – Bangalore Development Authority to consider the representation submitted by the petitioners on 23.07.2025, within a period of twelve weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. c. Till the consideration of the representation happens, the parties are directed to maintain status quo, qua the properties of the petitioners. Ordered accordingly.
