The instant contempt petition arises out of the order/judgment dated 02.12.2025 passed in WP(C) No.3388/2025, by virtue of which following order was passed, which is reproduced as under:- “Be that as it may, the instant petition is disposed of, at this stage, with a direction to respondent Nos.2 & 3 to consider and decide the representation of the petitioner dated 30.07.2025, stated to have been filed before respondent No.2, within a period of four weeks from the date of passing of this order by passing a speaking order, thereof.” 02. Since, the aforesaid order was not complied with, the instant contempt petition has been preferred. 03. Issue notice, which is waived by Ms. Priyanka Bhat, Assisting Counsel appearing vice Mrs. Monika Kohli, learned Sr. AAG. Sr. No. 02 2 CCP(S) No.179/2026 04. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents has assured this Court that the order/judgment dated 02.12.2025 passed by the learned writ Court shall be complied with within a period of two weeks from today, in case the same has not already been complied with as on date. 05. In view of the aforesaid assurance, this Court is of the considered opinion that no fruitful purpose would be served by keeping the present contempt petition pending. Accordingly, the contempt petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to comply the order/judgment dated 02.12.2025 passed by the learned writ Court within the extended period of two weeks from today, if the same has not already been complied with. The respondents shall pass a detailed and reasoned speaking order, as already directed by this Court vide order dated 02.12.2025. The contempt petition stands disposed of in the above terms. 06. It is made clear that, in case if the order is not complied with within the aforesaid extended period, the petitioner will be at liberty to revive the present contempt petition, and in that eventuality, this Court will be constrained to take coercive measures against the respondents. 07. Accordingly, the proceedings in the instant contempt petition are closed.
