Heard the parties.

In this writ petition, the petitioners have prayed for following reliefs:-
“For consideration of the case of the petitioners for promotion to the post of Amin Grade III (in the case of the petitioner No.1 to the post Amin Grade III and thereafter Amin Grade II) on the ground that they completed the time period for promotion as stipulated in the Rule 8 (iii) of the Jharkhand State Amin Cadre (Appointment, Promotion & Other Service Condition) Rule, 2013 since the due date of promotion with all consequential benefits”

Learned counsel for the petitioners prayed for mandamus.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents submits that the case of the petitioners needs to be

considered based on the Rules and Regulations for which the petitioners should first approach the respondents.

Considering the submission of the respondents, I direct the petitioners to approach respondent No.3- The Deputy Commissioner, Koderma by filing a detailed representation within four weeks. On receipt of the said representation, the case of the petitioners will be considered within six weeks and if it is necessary to place the case before any committee or any authority, the same should be placed during the said period.

If it is found that the petitioners are entitled for any benefit, the same will be granted within four weeks thereafter.

If any part of the claim of the petitioners are rejected, the reasons should be communicated to the petitioners within the aforesaid period.

With the aforesaid observations, this writ petition stands disposed of.
