The memo reads as follows: “1. The Petitioner had filed the Criminal Petition under Section 482 seeking to quash the proceedings in C.C. No. 302/2022 (arising out of Cr. No. 10/2022 of Sringeri Police Station) pending on the file of the Civil Judge & JMFC, Sringeri. 2. During the pendency of this petition, the trial in C.C. No. 302/2022 proceeded to its conclusion. The learned Civil Judge & JMFC, Sringeri, vide Judgment dated 07-02-2026, has been pleased to acquit the Petitioner for the offences punishable under Sections 498(A), 506 r/w 34 of the IPC. 3. In view of the acquittal of the Petitioner by the Trial Court, the prayer sought for in the present petition - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:9854 CRL.P No. 593 of 2023 has been answered, and the matter has become infructuous for further consideration. 4.
