These petitions under Section 14 and 15 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (‘A&C’ Act), occasioned on account of the fact that the Arbitrator appointed vide orders dated 08.05.2026 passed in ARB.P.622/2026 and ARB.P.623/2026 has expressed his inability to act as such in view of certain personal reasons. It is pointed out that an email to this effect has been addressed by the learned Arbitrator intimating as such to This is a digitally signed order. In the circumstances, respective counsel jointly request that a substitute sole Arbitrator be appointed to adjudicate the disputes between the parties. 3. Accordingly, as jointly prayed, Mr. Gopal Singh, Advocate (Mob. No.: + 91 9811156434) is appointed as the sole Arbitrator to adjudicate the disputes between the parties (in lieu of the arbitrator appointed vide order dated 08.05.2026 in ARB. P. 623/2026). 4. The learned Sole Arbitrator may proceed with the arbitration proceedings, subject to furnishing to the parties requisite disclosures as required under Section 12 of the A&C Act. 5. The learned Sole Arbitrator shall be entitled to fee in accordance with the IVth Schedule to the A&C Act. 6. All rights and contentions of the parties in relation to the claims/counter-claims are kept open, to be decided by the learned Arbitrator on their merits, in accordance with law. 7. The parties shall also be at liberty to raise jurisdictional objections qua claims/counter-claims, which shall be adjudicated by the learned sole Arbitrator, in accordance with law. 8. Needless to say, nothing in this order shall be construed as an expression of this Court on the merits of the cases. 9. The present petitions stand disposed of in the above terms.
