1. This is a writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following prayers :-
“a. Issue a Civil Writ of Certiorari or any other appropriate writ, order or direction, thereby quashing and setting aside the impugned communication bearing No. DGTAff0misc/ 19/2022-TC Section dated 30.04.2026, issued by the Respondent, insofar as the same directs or results in the deaffiliation of the Third Shift Units of the Petitioner Institution, being arbitrary, illegal, contrary to the applicable Affiliation Norms and violative of the Petitioner’s rights guaranteed under Articles 14 and 19(1)(g) of the Constitution of India; This is a digitally signed order. b. Issue a Civil Writ of Mandamus under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, thereby directing the Respondent to forthwith restore the affiliation of the Petitioner Institution in respect of its Third Shift Units, with its original approved trades and units, and to restore the corresponding affiliation status on the official DGT/Skill India Portal. …”
2. Mr. Bansal, learned Standing Counsel for the respondent states that the petitioner Institute has been affiliated now.
3. In this view of the matter, the grievance of the petitioner stands addressed and no longer survives.
4. Accordingly, the petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms, along with pending applications, if any.
