Petitioner has filed this writ petition praying for the following reliefs:- “10.1 That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to quash the impugned suspension order, dated 17.10.2025 (Annexure P/1). 10.2 That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue a writ in the nature of mandamus or suitable direction to the respondent authorities to grant all the consequential benefits in accordance with law. 10.3 This Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to allow any other relief as the Hon’ble Court deemed fit and proper along with the cost of petition.” 2. Learned counsel for the respective respondents raises an objection with regard to maintainability of the writ petition on the ground that the order under challenge is an order of suspension passed under Rule 9 of the Chhattisgarh Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1966 (hereinafter for brevity referred to as the Rules, 1966), and it is appealable under Rule 23 of the Rules, 1966. 3. After arguing for sometime, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in view of the objections raised by the learned counsel for the respective respondents, he seeks permission of 3 this Court to withdraw this writ petition, with liberty to avail the other alternate remedy available under the law. 4. In view of the submission made by learned counsel for the respective parties, this writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as prayed for. 5. Certified copy as rules.
