ORAL ORDER
1. The petitioner is before the court seeking the following prayer:
" (a) Issue writ in the nature of mandamus to issue a direction to learned The Addl. Chief Judicial Magistrate, Mayohall, Bangalore, to conclude the trial in C.C.No.50977/2023 at Annexure-C, within a period of two months. (b) Issue any other writ, order or direction as this Hon'ble Court deems fit and proper under the facts & circumstances of this case in the interest of justice and equity."
2. The prayer of the petitioner is for speedy disposal of the proceedings in C.C. No.50977/2023, registered for the offence punishable under Section 380 of the IPC. The learned counsel submits that the petitioner has been in custody throughout and therefore seeks expeditious disposal of the case. In the light of

the prayer being innocuous, I deem it appropriate to direct the concerned court to dispose the said proceeding within an outer limit of nine months from the date of receipt of the certified copy of this order, if not earlier. Ordered accordingly.

disposed of.
