1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to respondent no.1/MCD to inspect the property bearing no. 2684-85 and the adjoining property no. 2683, at Plot No.13, East Sadar Thana Road, Delhi- 110006 (‘subject property’) and take action against the unauthorized construction being carried out in the subject property. 2. The petitioner claims to be a co-owner of the subject property and there is a partition suit pending between the petitioner and respondent no.4. 3. Photographs have been filed along with the petition showing the unauthorized construction. This is a digitally signed order. 4. Counsel appears on behalf of respondent no.1/MCD on advance notice and submits that the subject property has been booked and a show cause notice has been issued on 21st August, 2026. She further submits that a work stop notice has been issued to the concerned SHO, P.S. Sadar Bazar on 19th August, 2026. 5. In view thereof, the present writ petition is disposed of while directing respondent no.1/MCD to take appropriate action in accordance with law. 6. The SHO, P.S. Sadar Bazar shall ensure that no further construction is carried out in the subject property. 7. In the event the petitioner has any further grievance with regard to unauthorised construction, he is at liberty to take appropriate remedies in accordance with law. 8.
