ORAL ORDER
Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner's grandfather late Sri.Siddaiah was temporarily granted with 2.00 Acres of land in Survey No.27 of Choranahalli Village, Varuna Hobli, Mysuru Taluk, in the year 1942. The revenue records reflected the name of Sri.Siddaiah till the year 1989. Not knowing this aspect of the matter, the petitioner has filed an application in Form No.57 seeking regularisation of unauthorised occupation of

1.00 Acre of land in Survey No.27. Learned Counsel for the petitioner would therefore submit that the petitioner is now required to approach the competent authority seeking permanent grant after the period of completion of the temporary grant made in favour of the petitioner's grandfather-Sri.Siddaiah.
2. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of reserving liberty to the petitioner to seek permanent grant at the hands of the competent authority having regard to the temporary grant said to have been made in favour of the petitioner's grandfather in the year 1942.
