Instant petitions have been filed under Section 482 BNSS by the petitioner seeking pre-arrest bail in connection with Excise District Mobile Squad, Angul P.R. No. 64 of 2025- 26 corresponding to 2(a) C.C. Case No.523 of 2025 pending in the court of learned S.D.J.M., Angul on the grounds stated. 3. Recorded the submissions of Mr. Panda, learned counsel for the petitioner. From Form-C-2 at Annexure-1, the Court finds that there is recovery of 60 liters of I.D. liquor and in that connection, the petitioner apprehends arrest because of the seizure shown against him. Considering the seizure of large quantity of ID liquor, this Court is not inclined to entertain the bail plea, however, grants the liberty for the petitioner to surrender before the court below seeking regular bail and in case of rejection, to approach the Sessions Court. 4. Accordingly, it is ordered. 5. In the result, the ABLAPL is disposed of with the direction as aforesaid. It is further directed that in the event, the petitioner surrenders within a fortnight from today and moves an application for bail in connection with 2(a) C.C. Case No.523 of 2025 arising out of Excise District Mobile Squad, Angul P.R. No. 64 of 2025-26 pending in the Court of learned S.D.J.M., Angul, it is directed that the same shall be entertained during the first hour followed by an order and in the event of rejection, he is granted the liberty to approach the Sessions Court for orders on the same day and for the said purpose, the lower court case record and other relevant papers shall be made available at the time of hearing. 6.
