By virtue of the present applications under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (BNSS), the applicant seeks grant of regular bail as also interim bail in FIR No. RC2162022A0001, dated 23.01.2022 registered at PS.: CBI AC-1, Delhi under Sections 120B/409/420/467/468/471 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (IPC) and Sections 7/13(2)/66 read with Section 13(1)(a) of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 (As amended in 2018) (PC Act) and Section 66 of the This is a digitally signed order. At the outset, learned counsel for the applicant though seeks grant of regular bail as also interim bail, however, after some arguments, he seeks to give up the relief qua regular bail and press for interim bail only. 5. Thence, learned counsel for the applicant submits that interim bail was granted to the applicant herein considering the issue of jurisdiction vide order dated 19.07.2022 in BAIL APPLN. 2210/2022 by a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court. Pursuant thereto, since the applicant has been complying with the conditions imposed on him, he prays that the interim bail is liable to be granted/ extended. 6. Issue notice. Learned SPP for CBI accepts notice and submits that he has no objection if the present application is allowed albeit for a reasonable period of time. 7. Heard and perused the pleadings on record. 8. Considering that the applicant was granted interim bail vide order dated 19.07.2022 in BAIL APPLN. 2210/2022 which was continuing till 21.08.2026 and the CBI was represented all throughout and further considering the peculiar facts and circumstances involved, there is no impediment on extending the interim bail initially granted to the applicant vide order dated 19.07.2022 on the same terms and conditions as contained therein. 9. As such, the present application is allowed and the interim bail granted to the applicant vide order dated 19.07.2022 in BAIL APPLN. 2210/2022 in the proceedings arising out of FIR No.RC2162022A0001, dated 23.01.2022 registered at PS.: CBI AC-1, Delhi under Sections 120B/409/ 420/467/468/471 IPC and Sections 7/13(2)/66 read with This is a digitally signed order.
