The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking following reliefs:- “10.1 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent authorities to give regular appointment to the petitioner in lieu of affected land under the project of Dr. Shyama Prasa Mukharji Tap Vidyut Grih Korba (C.G.) within stipulate time, in the interest of justice. 10.2 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent authorities to consider and decide the petitioner's representations (ANNEXURE P-6), regarding grant of regular appointment to the petitioner, in the interest of justice. 10.3 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to grant any other relief/relief's in favour of the petitioners, which the Hon'ble Court deemed fit & just in the facts and circumstances of the case, including awarding of the costs to the petitioner.” 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that land of the petitioner was acquired by the Respondents No. 3 to 8. According to the policy, petitioner was entitled for employment in lieu of the acquisition of land. Initially, the order for employing the petitioner was issued in the year 2018 appointing the petitioner on contract basis. At that time, petitioner has raised objection, however, he was assured that subsequently, within sometime, petitioner will be provided regular employment. However, till date, they have not given permanent employment. Petitioner thereafter, submitted representation before the Respondents No. 3 to 5, however, till date the representation submitted by the petitioner has not been considered and decided and therefore, direction be issued to the 3 respondents to take decision on the representation at the earliest within specified time. 3. On the other hand, learned counsel for the Respondents No. 3 to 8 would submit that as the petitioner is not pressing this writ petition on merits and is only seeking a direction to the concerned authorities to take decision on the pending representation, he is having no objection to the limited prayer. However, if representation is pending consideration, it will be considered in accordance with law. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the documents placed on record. 5. On due consideration of the submission of counsel for the respective parties, facts and circumstances of the case, nature of grievance raised by the petitioner, without entering into the merits of the claim of petitioner, this writ petition at this stage is disposed of with a direction to the Respondents No. 3 to 8 to take decision on the pending representation of the petitioner in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a period of 04 months from the date of receipt of order. 6.
