The petitioners are apprehending their arrest in connection with Sakchi P.S. Case No. 32 of 2022, registered for the offence under Sections 143, 341, 353, 153A, 295A, 149 and 188 of Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, pending in the court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jamshedpur. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that agitation was going on due to ban made in the State of Karnataka on Hijab. He submits that the FIR has been registered against 38 named and 400 unknown persons and there are general and omnibus allegation and in identical situation, co-accused persons have been granted anticipatory bail in A.B.A. No.2869 of 2026 and A.B.A. No.2876 of 2026 by the co-ordinate Bench of this court. On these grounds, he submits that anticipatory bail may kindly be granted. 4. Learned counsel appearing for the State opposes the prayer and submits that the petitioner was the member of unlawful assembly. 5. Looking to the contents of the FIR, it transpires that 38 named persons and 400 unknown persons were present and there are general and omnibus allegation and it has been pointed out that altercation took place due to ban made in the State of Karnataka on Hijab and the co-accused have been granted anticipatory bail in the aforesaid A.B.As., in the attending facts and circumstances, I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 6. Accordingly, the above-named petitioners are directed to surrender before the learned court within two weeks from today and in the 2026:JHHC:16821 event of his arrest or surrender, they shall be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Twenty Five Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jamshedpur, in connection with Sakchi P.S. Case No. 32 of 2022, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023. (Sanjay Kumar Dwivedi, J.) Anit Uploaded 16.06.2026
