By way of the present writ petition, the petitioner seeks following reliefs: ―a) Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ/order/direction directing the Respondents to release/remit the insurance amount of Rs.50,00,000/- in favour of the Petitioner under the "Pradhan Mantri Garib This is a digitally signed order. Issue notice. The learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and states that the deceased in this case had unfortunately passed away in the year 2020. However, they have not received any application for grant of ex-gratia compensation from respondent no. 3. 5. Having heard the learned counsels appearing for the parties, this Court directs that the documents, which are required to be filed regarding the representation being filed by the petitioner to any of the respondents, be placed before respondent nos. 2 and 5. Upon filing of the same, the representation filed on behalf of the petitioner be decided expeditiously, preferably within a period of eight weeks from date, under intimation to the petitioners and this Court. 6. The petitioner is at liberty to approach this Court again, in case the need so arises, by way of filing a fresh writ petition. 7. In above terms, the present petition stands disposed of. 8.
