The present writ petition has been filed seeking directions to the respondent-MCD to take action against the subject property bearing House No. 157, Tikkar Mohalla, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi. 2. It is stated that a demolition order against the subject property has been passed on 19th May, 2025, in respect of unauthorised construction on the third floor and fourth floor. However, no action has been taken against the subject property. 3. Counsel appears on behalf of the respondent/MCD and submits that MCD is taking appropriate action against the subject property. In view thereof, the present petition is disposed of while directing the respondent/MCD to take appropriate action against the subject property as stated above. 5. The police officials, i.e. the respondents no.4 and 5, shall provide necessary police force to the respondent/MCD for the purposes of proposed action. 6. Liberty is given to the petitioner to approach this Court in the event of any further grievance. 7. All rights, contentions and legal remedies of the owner/occupier are kept open.
