JUSTICE JASMEET SINGH O R D E R % 19.08.2026 1. This is a writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following prayers:- “A. Allow the present Writ Petition; B. Pass a Writ order or direction the nature of prohibition restraining the Respondents from interfering with the possession of the property bearing Khasra No. 226 (2 – 03) situated at Saidulajaib Extension, New Delhi - 110030; C. Pass writ, Order or direction directing the Respondent to seize and desist in their efforts and attempts to demolish the construction lawfully raised on the aforesaid house of land which falls within the unauthorized colony known as Saidulajaib Extension, This is a digitally signed order. The petitioner prays for a writ prohibiting respondents from interfering with the possession of property bearing Khasra No. 226 (2-03) situated at Saidulajaib Extension, New Delhi – 110030 and restraint against the respondent to demolish the construction raised by the petitioners. 3. Mr. Pathak, learned standing counsel for the respondent No. 1 and Mr. Bajaj, learned counsel for the respondent No. 2, state that the property in question has already been demolished and complete possession of the said property has been taken over by the respondents. 4. Taking their statements on record and binding the respondent Nos. 1 and 2 to the same, the petition in its present form has become infructuous and is accordingly dismissed. 5. Since, the petitioner No. 1 does not wish to prosecute the present petition and has filed an application bearing CM APPL. No. 55472/2026 in this regard, the petitioner Nos. 2 to 5 are at liberty to avail appropriate legal remedies as per their rights. 6. The petition stands disposed of along with pending applications. 7. The next date of hearing i.e., 07.09.2026 stands cancelled.
