[2026:RJ-JP:5718] HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE FOR RAJASTHAN BENCH AT JAIPUR S.B. Civil Writ Petition No. 1820/2026 Lokesh Kumar S/o Udai Bhan Singh Gurjar, Aged About 20 Years, R/o Vpo Ronsi, Tehsil Nadoti, District Karauli Rajasthan. ----Petitioner Versus Rajasthan Staff Selection Board, State Institute Of Agriculture Management Premises, Durgapura, Jaipur, Rajasthan Through Its Secretary. ----Respondent For Petitioner(s) : Mr. Swapnil Singh Patel, Adv. Ms. Shivangi Singh Patel, Adv. For Respondent(s) : Mr. Manish Bhardwaj, Adv. for Mr. Nalin G. Narain, Adv. HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE ANAND SHARMA Order 06/02/2026 1. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that while filling application form pursuant to advertisement dated 19/2024 for recruitment on the post of Class-IV Employee, on account of human error, the petitioner could not indicate that, he was outstanding Sportsman and the application form was filled under reserved category instead of in the category of outstanding sports person. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is holding one certificate issued by the National Rifle Association of India certifying that, the petitioner had participated in the XXIII All India Kumar Surenda Singh Inter School Shooting Championship. [2026:RJ-JP:5718] (2 of 2) [CW-1820/2026] 3. Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record. 4. The eligibility clause for claiming reservation in the category of outstanding Sportsman has been prescribed in Clause 13 of the advertisement, however, learned counsel for the petitioner has utterly failed to point out that the certificate possessed by him falls in any of the category mentioned in Clause 13 of the advertisement. Under these circumstances where, he was not eligible for claiming any reservation in outstanding sports person category due to not possessing the certificate from the Institutes/Bodies referred in the advertisement, this Court does not find any ground to interfere in this writ petition. Hence, the writ petition is, hereby, dismissed. 5. Pending application(s), if any, shall stands disposed of. (ANAND SHARMA),J Jatin /69
