Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that one of the accused viz. Devendra Ahuja has preferred a revisional application being CRR 3680 of 2024 wherein an interim order of stay has been granted. The server copy of the order dated 14.11.2025 has been placed before this Court which reflects that the interim order has been extended in the revisional application till 31st January, 2026. It has been submitted that the present petitioner is in custody since May, 2025. Learned advocate appearing for the State has submitted report prepared by the Inspector-in-Charge, Kaliachak Police Station which reflects that the present petitioner was earlier wanted in connection with Malda P.S. Case No.473/2017, Malda P.S. Case No. 359/2020 and 2 Kaliachak P.S. Case No. 1025/2021 and is also involved in the present case. The petitioner was evading the process of law in the other cases and was shown arrested in all the four cases. Having considered the antecedent of the present petitioner, I am of the view that this is not a fit case for granting bail to the petitioner. As such, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. The application for bail, being CRM (NDPS) 1431 of 2025, is, thus, dismissed. Report submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State be kept with the record. All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
