The petitioners are apprehending their arrest in connection with Nirsa (Kalubathan O.P.) P.S. Case No. 99 of 2026, registered for the offence under Section 18 of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, pending in the court of learned Principal District and Sessions Judge-cum- Special Judge, (NDPS), Dhanbad. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners through video conferencing submits that the petitioners have been falsely implicated in this case alleging that opium plants have been cultivated by the petitioners on the back side of the house of the petitioners. He further submits that the petitioners are having no criminal antecedent as disclosed in para 15 of the petition. 4. Learned counsel appearing for the State opposes the prayer and submits that the allegations are there of cultivating poppy plant on the back side of the house. 5. Considering that in the order of learned Sessions Judge it has only five poppy plants have been recovered and it has been pointed out that the petitioners are having no criminal antecedent as disclosed in para 15 of the petition, in the attending facts and circumstances, I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners. 6. Accordingly, the above-named petitioners are directed to surrender before the learned court within two weeks from today and in the 2026:JHHC:16970 event of their arrest or surrender, they shall be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Twenty Five Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Principal District and Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, (NDPS), Dhanbad, in connection with Nirsa (Kalubathan O.P.)
