The present Petition under Section 29A(4) & (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 has been filed by the Petitioner for extending the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal. 2. Material on record indicates that an Arbitral Tribunal was constituted by the parties on 24.08.2024. Procedural Order dated 08.07.2026 indicates that the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal would expire on 25.08.2026. The present petition has, therefore, been filed for extending the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal. This is a digitally signed order. It is stated that the matter is at the stage of cross examination of Respondent’s witness and, therefore, the mandate of the Arbitrator be extended for a period of 12 months. 4. Learned Counsel appearing for the Respondent on advance service states that the Respondent has no objection to the present Petition. 5. In view of the facts of the present case, this Court is inclined to extend the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal till 31.07.2027, so that the award can be pronounced. 6.
