The present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking cancellation of the offer of appointment issued vide letter dated 23rd April, 2026, and continuation of the petitioner’s appointment to the post of Sub-Inspector, along with batch seniority and all consequential benefits. 2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents, on instructions, states that the subsequent verification report of fingerprints from the expert body has been received and an expeditious appointment order shall be issued to the petitioner, in any case, within a period of four weeks.
