This interlocutory application has been preferred by the appellant for condoning the delay of 39 days in filing this appeal. Criminal Appeal (D.B.) No. 679 of 2026: Heard Mr. A. K. Choudhary, learned counsel appearing for the appellant and the learned Special P.P. appearing for the State. This appeal is directed against the order dated 01.12.2026 passed in Misc. Criminal Application No. 1875 of 2025 arising out of Sonari P. S. Case No. 108 of 2025 corresponding to NDPS Case No. 75 of 2025 by the learned Special Judge (NDPS Act), Jamshedpur whereby and whereunder the prayer for bail of the appellant has been rejected. It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the appellant that the appellant has been implicated on the confession of co-accused namely, Lakhindar Sardar who has already been granted bail by this -2- court in Cr. Appeal (DB) No. 593 of 2026. Learned counsel adds that the appellant is in custody since 09.09.2025. Learned Special P.P. for the State has opposed the prayer for bail of the appellant and has further submitted that the appellant has got 6 criminal antecedents. However, considering the manner of his implication, we while setting aside the order dated 01.12.2026 passed in Misc. Criminal Application No. 1875 of 2025 by the learned Special Judge (NDPS Act), Jamshedpur, direct that the appellant above named be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of the learned Sessions Judge cum Special Judge, Jamshedpur in connection with Sonari P.
