Learned counsel for the petitioner has filed an appeal under Section 14 of the Rajasthan Motor Vehicles Taxation Act, 1951 challenging the order dated 28.03.2025 imposing tax and five times penalty, however, the appeal is not being considered, nor being decided and the vehicle is being put to auction. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that if the vehicle is auctioned, the entire purpose of filing of the appeal would be frustrated. 4. We direct the Deputy Transport Commissioner (Transport Appellate Authority), at Jaipur Rajasthan, to decide the appeal expeditiously, preferably within a period of one month. 5.
