NARENDRA PRASAD ORAL ORDER This writ petition is filed by defendants under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, seeking the following relief: “Issue a writ of mandamus or any other order or direction to the trial court to pass a judgment and decree on the basis of the admissions made in the written statement in O.S.No.1104/2025, which is pending before the Hon’ble Court of the Senior Civil Judge and JMFC, Hosakote.” 2. For the sake of convenience, the parties are referred to as per their ranking before the trial court. 3. The respondents/plaintiffs filed a suit in O.S. No.1104/2025 for partition and separate possession. The petitioners/defendants appeared through counsel and filed their written statement. They have not disputed the claim of the plaintiffs. Even though the suit was filed in the year 2025, the trial court has not yet disposed of the same. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the trial court to dispose of the suit as expeditiously as possible, and in any event not later than the end of August 2026, provided there is no order of stay of the said proceedings granted by any court of law.
