Jayaprakash, learned Government Advocate for R1 to R4 R5 – notice dispensed with ORDER This writ petition has been filed, seeking for correction of the UDR (Updating Registry) patta standing in the name of the fifth respondent for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 2. According to the petitioner, there is a mistake in the UDR patta standing in the name of the fifth respondent for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition. The petitioner had given a representation on 09.02.2026 to the official respondents, requesting them to https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 11799 of 2026 correct the mistake in the UDR patta standing in the name of the fifth respondent. Since the said representation has not been considered till date, this writ petition has been filed. 3. Mr. C. Jayaprakash, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. Since no adverse orders are passed against the fifth respondent, notice to the fifth respondent is dispensed with by this Court. 4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the petitioner’s representation as stated supra is considered on merits and in accordance with law after hearing the objections of the fifth respondent as well as any other third party whom the third respondent deems it fit to enquire within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 5. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner’s representation. 6. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the third respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner’s representation dated 09.02.2026, seeking for correction of the UDR patta standing in the name of the fifth respondent for the subject property within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 11799 of 2026 giving due consideration to the proceedings passed by the respective respondents and after giving due consideration to the fact that the fifth respondent has stated no objection for the correction sought for by the petitioner in the UDR patta. 7.
