The petitioner named above has been made accused in connection with Barhi (Padma O.P.) P.S. Case No. 384 of 2025 for the offences registered under Sections 103(1), 238, 61(2) of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, pending in the court of S.D.J.M., Hazaribagh. The informant of the case is the father of the deceased and as per the FIR, while the husband of the deceased was going along with her on a motorcycle, he caused her death by assaulting her and to give a picture of an accidental death, he later on stated that the deceased had sustained injury leading to death in a motor vehicle accident. It is alleged that the petitioner was present in the hospital when the deceased was brought there. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that save and except the allegation that the petitioner was also present in the hospital, there is no allegation against her. As per the prosecution version, the petitioner was not present at the place of occurrence, as the death took place in a desolate Highway and the sole assailant is said to be the husband of the deceased. Learned counsel for the State has opposed the prayer for bail. Under the aforesaid facts and circumstances, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Court below.
