The present writ petition has been filed seeking direction to respondents to take action against unauthorised construction at property bearing no.721, West Guru Angad Nagar, Near Khanna Clinic, Gurudwara Road, Laxmi Nagar, Delhi-110092. (‘subject property’) 3. It is stated on behalf of the petitioner that the private respondent no.5 This is a digitally signed order. The Order is downloaded from the DHC Server on 29/08/2026 at 15:59:51 W.P.(C) 12277/2026 has constructed a five-storey building without any sanctioned plan. Photographs have been filed along with the petition to show the extent of unauthorised construction. 4. Counsel appearing on behalf of respondent-MCD on advance notice submits that the subject property has been booked on 20th November, 2025 and a show cause notice has been issued on the said date. Subsequently, a demolition order has been passed on 31st December, 2025. He submits that demolition action has been planned on various dates thereafter but could not be carried out due to non-availability of police force. 5. A status report has been handed over in Court by counsel for respondent-MCD. 5.1. The same is taken on record. 6. Mr. Neeraj Kumar, who is present in Court, has been asked to enter appearance on behalf of respondent no.4/SHO, P.S. Laxmi Nagar. 7. Taking note of the aforesaid submissions, the present writ petition is disposed of while directing respondent-MCD to take appropriate action in accordance with law in an expeditious manner. 8. The respondent no.4/SHO, P.S. Lakshmi Nagar shall provide the necessary police force to MCD for carrying out the action. 9. Liberty is given to the petitioner to approach this Court in the event of any further grievance with regard to unauthorised construction. 10.
