1. Petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking following reliefs:-
“10.1 That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to set- aside the promotion order dated 26.12.2025 (Annexure P/1), whereby the respondent no. 5 promoted to the post of Lecturer (Physics) with all consequential benefits. 10.2 That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to grant any other relief as it may deems fit and appropriate.”

Learned counsel for petitioner submits that petitioner is working as Shikshakarmi (Grade-II) and is having Post Graduate degree. He has completed the relevant period of service and has become eligible to be promoted for the post of Lecturer (Physics). Respondent authorities have initiated proceedings of promotion and erroneously issued an
order in favor of respondent no. 5 who is junior to petitioner in the cadre. He submits that he may be permitted to submit representation before the concerned authority and in turn concerned authority be
directed to consider and take decision on the submitted representation within a specified time frame.

Learned counsel for State submits that as petitioner is not pressing this writ petition on merits and is only seeking permission to submit representation before concerned authority, she is having no objection.
4. On due consideration of submission made by learned counsel for the respective parties, without entering into the merits of the case the writ
3 / 3 petition at this stage is disposed of, permitting petitioner to submit comprehensive representation before respondent no. 2 and if such a representation is submitted, concerned authority shall consider and take decision, in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a further period of three months from the date of the order.
5. With the aforesaid observation and direction, this writ petition is
